T.P. Grimbard writes dark fiction — horror with weight, mythology with teeth, and stories that refuse easy exits.

The Grimbard brand begins with the There Be Monsters series, a horror anthology that explores what happens when monsters stop being simple. Then and Now, the first volume, is the opening entry in a world where horror is not just what lurks in the dark — it is what the dark reveals about the things already there.

Alongside the fiction, the Grimbard Archive collects creature mythology, folklore, and the historical record of humanity’s stranger stories — the things that were written down because people were afraid to forget them.

The Work

Dark literary horror. No jump scares. No cheap resolutions. The Grimbard approach is slow dread, psychological weight, and monsters that mean something beyond their claws.

Future releases will include additional volumes in the There Be Monsters series, Grimbard Classics editions with new introductions, and standalone works.
